Peter Clay is a full-time real estate professional, with 20 years licensed in Georgia and 16 of those as associate broker. Peter, or "Pete" retired some years ago as a VP/executive/officer of an internationally-known company following a three decade-long plus career. He and his wife built a new home in a golf community in Suwanee, moved to Georgia in 2004 and almost immediately he started listing and selling real estate, something he had always wanted to do. Working in New York City was a wonderful experience, but living and working in Georgia has been a complete and positive lifestyle change. The negotiating and human interaction skills he developed and honed in his previous career are applied continuously to the benefit of his many real estate clients.
Pete has listed and/or sold properties in Alpharetta, Athens, Atlanta, Ballground, Bishop, Blue Ridge, Bogart, Braselton, Buford, Canton, Cave Spring, Clayton, Cleveland, Conyers, Covington, Dacula, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Duluth, Eatonton, Ellijay, Flowery Branch, Gainesville, Good Hope, Greensboro, Hoschton, Jasper, Jefferson, Lawrenceville, Lula, Milliedgeville, Monroe, Oakwood, Oxford, Pendergrass, Roswell, Social Circle, Sugar Hill, Suwanee, Winder, Woodstock, and more. Wherever the opportunities lie, Pete is ready to go.
Open to working with buyers or sellers, investors or builders, Pete's primary focus is on luxury lake, EQUESTRIAN, estate, FARMS and acreage. Especially horse and any other type of farm! He is easy top get to know, understands and practices the discretion/confidentiality required of high-end clients, and works diligently in the interests of his clients until their objectives are met. And then, lifelong friendships often evolve.
Peter grew up in New Jersey, about 15 miles as the crow flies from lower Manhattan, and in Sherwood Forest, Maryland, on the Severn River near Annapolis. Summers were spent in Vermont and New Hampshire growing-up, and he attended colleges in both the north and the south. His wife, from New Jersey and North Carolina, is a retired banking executive. They have owned getaway properties on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire and in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania. All those properties had commonalities of lake and skiing. Pete's wife is an avid winter sports enthusiast, and Pete a performance boater. Now, those activities are mostly in the rear-view mirror, but well-remembered. Residing near Lake Lanier, Pete covers a wide-swath of north and east Georgia, always ready to become involved learning about and marketing an interesting property, or assisting a buyer with a need and/or a dream. Contact Peter today, and get started. Never pressure, always ready to listen to your thoughts.
