COVID-19 and Real Estate Market. At present, many real estate companies are taking pro-active steps to protect  their employees, clients and independent contractors (agents), as are most industries. As to Harry Norma Realtors, and specifically our office in Cumming at The Collection At Forsyth, where I am affiliated, aggressive measures are already in place. Office access is extremely limited and entry only made by staff or agents with a valid emergency reason approved by the managing broker.  All sales meetings, etc. are executed virtually. Contact your Harry Norman agent directly for any impact this may have on your plans. Any Open Houses for Harry Norman Realtors listings will all be done virtually, rather than chancing exposure in groups of people attending, and to protect buyers, sellers, agents and their families.

Personally, I will show only vacant homes to my clients/prospects at this time, with others shown virtually. I will show land only anytime, but must state that I will work with new clients/prospects in person cautiously, as they should do with me, to feel confident it is safe to do so. Safe social distancing will always be employed. New contract addendum are being created now to provide for "sight unseen" purchases, that will provide protection for both buyers and sellers in this extraordinary situation. As to the statistical impact of COVID-19 on sales, pricing, etc, it's probably a bit soon to tell, but the obvious is less traffic. Let's use the advantage of being able to do things virtually to work though your needs. I can contacted by email, text, or cell anytime, 24/7, and promise a quick and personal response. As with you, I need my business to continue to move forward to the extent possible during this world-wide event, and offer all in my experience and knowledge to to accommodate you, work out solutions, at the same time, putting your family's' health first.
