Pete Clay is a fulltime real estate professional, with extensive experience, including 17 years as a GA licensed agent, and 13years licensed as Associate Broker. He has listed and sold properties throughout the Atlanta & Metro, Lake Lanier, Greater Athens, Lake Oconee and northeast GA mountain area markets. He is a member of five Multiple Listing Services (MLS), and four Boards/Associations of REALTORS®. This unusually broad-base provides clients with the ability to utilize his expert services over a wide-ranging area of northeast Georgia and, as sellers, to gain extreme exposure for their listing. Handling all types of real estate, including commercial, farms and residential, Pete has specialized experience and interest in equine, farm, lake and golf properties. Rentals are not handled.
He grew up in New Jersey and Maryland, and spent most summers as a youth in Vermont and New Hampshire. Pete attended colleges in the north, and in the south. Prior to working in real estate in GA, he had a 30+ year career with one of the two subsidiaries of an international retailer. As a senior executive in the New York City headquarters, he had numerous high-level accountabilities as VP, including HR management, real estate development, risk management, loss prevention, expense forecasting and results, labor-relations and more. Following retirement, he has continued to consult to various companies on matters about which he has knowledge. The negotiating and human interaction skills he developed and honed over that extensive career, now benefit his real estate clients in every transaction. 
Pete and his wife, a retired banking executive, live in a community near Lake Lanier, where they kept their high performance Formula boat, For Pete’s Sake, for many years. The appeal of this area of Georgia included long boating and golf seasons, affordable living and great people. Pete’s wife, a winter sports enthusiast, still skis as often as possible at their ski resort home in the northeast.  His down-time interests include true Classic-Era automobiles (Packard, Duesenberg, Marmon, Pierce-Arrow, Peerless, Cord etc.), American and European history, relaxing with drawing and watercolor, golf, gardening and following sports.
